Suzy Clare Moody

My background is in nursing both in the UK and in developing countries, with experience in both rural clinics (Malawi) and urban referral hospitals (Ethiopia). My degree, Masters and PhD are all in Microbiology. My scientific career is focused on fungal biology, with an interest in parasitology both from a clinical perspective and for teaching. My research is primarily focused on multi 'omic technologies, with a passion for wet lab work. My current research students are working on bioremediation, evolution of antimicrobial resistance and development of new antimicrobials.
