Hope Simpson

Hope is currently working with the AIM Initiative, which supports national NTD control programmes to strengthen and integrate their surveillance activities. Through this work, she looks to help increase the value and use of routine data sources for research purposes and for guiding integrated NTD control and case management activities.

Hope's role involves capacity strengthening through the delivery of training for public health teams in NTD-endemic countries, as part of this work she helps to design and deliver training workshops in QGIS

She is also interested in the role of primary healthcare in the surveillance and case management of NTDs, and the impact of health service accessibility on disease detection and morbidity outcomes.
