Dr Steve Walker

Steve is  a Consultant Dermatologist and a Clinical Senior Lecturer in the Department of Clinical Research at LSHTM. He is the coordinator of the Erythema Nodosum Leprosum International STudy (ENLIST) Group. Erythema nodosum leprosum (ENL) is a severe complication of leprosy. The group is composed of clinicians, statisticians and laboratory scientists with extensive clinical and research experience in the diagnosis and management of leprosy and its complications. 
The group is coordinated from London and includes centres in Bangladesh, Brazil, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Nepal and the Philippines. The ENLIST Group aims to improve: the understanding of the mechanisms which cause ENL, the evidence to guide treatment decisions and the access to effective treatments.
