Mahbubur Rahman
Mahbubur Rahman graduated in Medical Sciences (MBBS) and then completed his Masters in Epidemiology (MPH) in Bangladesh. Mahbubur joined the Royal Veterinary College (RVC), UK as a PhD student in December 2015. His research project on “Transmission of Avian Influenza A from animal to human at the animal-human interface in Bangladesh” is part of BALZAC (Behavioural Adaptations in Live poultry trading and farming systems and Zoonoses Control in Bangladesh) project, a collaborative work between RVC and LSHTM in the UK and IEDCR & other institutes in Bangladesh. From May 2003, he has been working in Bangladesh Government Cadre Service at different places with different roles under Ministry of Health and Family Planning, Bangladesh. From 2011 to 2013, Mahbubur has worked with WHO-BAN as Surveillance Medical Officer. In 2014, Mahbubur joined Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR), Dhaka, Bangladesh.
